Employment

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is a critical participant in the administration of justice within Western Australia, providing an independent and effective criminal prosecution service which is both just and fair.

To deliver these prosecution services, the ODPP operates a number of legal practice teams each headed by a Practice Manager and comprising:

  • Legal Officers (State Prosecutors and Confiscations Lawyers);
  • Managing Paralegals, Paralegals and Law Clerks; and
  • Legal Assistants.

The ODPP also employs people in a variety of corporate roles.  The Corporate Services division consists of:

  • Human Resources & Workforce Development;
  • Finance and Administration;
  • Information Technology; and
  • Records.
